1-day workshops

In co-operation with vacation park Grönklitt we organise one-day photography workshops in the surroundings of Orsa. Everybody who wants to know more about his camera and/or photography can join the workshop.

We start the day early because of the beautiful morning light and spend the day hiking in a beautiful forest and lake area. During the hike we will make stops and discus different kind of subjects like; programs on the camera, digital photography, composition, landscape photography, etc. But everybody is free to ask his or her own questions and we will support you.

Around 13:30 we finish the day with a nice lunch and if wanted we answer some more questions.

The main language during the workshop is English but we also speak Dutch and some Swedish and German.

As well the analogue and digital photographer with a compact or SLR camera can join us on the workshop.

It’s also possible to organize a special workshop that we can make custom-made for you, like for example to go out with us for 2 days. Or we can organize a company outing for companies who want to do something different. Please contact us about the possibilities.

1-day photo safaris                       

It's also possible that we take a group of minimal 4 persons out for a photo safari. We drive you around in the beautiful surroundings of Orsa by minibus. We visit the best views and landscapes and we'll try to find wildlife for you.

Exclusive photography workshop in the middle of the environment of the brown bear

In co-operation with Björn & Vildmark, Nordic Nature Photo & Adventures will organize a very special workshop. Andrea Friebe is one of the researchers of the Scandinavian Brown Bear Project and together with her we will discover the thrilling life of wild brown bears.
The chance we will have an encounter with a brown bear is not very likely but we will find different kind of tracks, droppings, day beds and a winter den. Because of the Scandinavian Brown Bear Project some of the bears are radio marked with a collar and during the day we are going to show you briefly how the project is doing their research and how they can locate the bears.
During the trip we will visit beautiful places where we will teach you the technique of (nature) photography. Next to beautiful nature subjects it’s very exciting to photograph a bear den from the inside and in some cases to even feel the animal’s presence. During a wonderful lunch you will also have the change to ask more questions about the bears, the bear project or photography.
The day starts at 09.00 and will end around 17.00 and to join the workshop you will need your own way of transport, your own camera and weatherproof clothes.
